They are extremely entertaining. Just wait till they mature. If your home alone, late at night and the male starts calling...get ready to have the bejesus scared out of ya...sounds like a monster from a 'B' movie is loose in the house.First time, mine did it, I got up with my pistol and went looking for this creature!
Here's a vid of one calling but unless you turn the volume all the way up, you won't fully appreciate how loud they really are...

Here's what the females sound like.

i had the breeders inside for about two months and finally i gave up keeping the area around em clean kicked em out. Gnats are gone anyway. I did not know that was what that growling was though! i wouldve Swore it was one of the dogs snoring! I hear the hen All the time though and the song! So pretty!

We don't even call it spicy it's just normal to us.
Wait a minute I think we call it bland if it doesn't have some kind of kick to it.

It just that their more likely to be fertile after that time....it takes awhile after they mature for them to get the hang of the mating process and to become sexually active.

Makes sense. At least some of These have been laying for about 3 weeks. Think I’ll give it a try but not expect too high of a hatch rate.

A friend wants a little group just to keep around for pets. My plan is to let her “trial” the babies to fawn over and then just take back any extras.

I am a huge baby and can barely even handle medium salsa yes even the tostitos LOL I eat it though, I like it, but I suffer through it actually, that ones not that bad. But some salsas my nose literally starts running and eyes watering even when it’s not even spicy

You probably have never had these cause you make your own way better and spicier food but okay... honey chipotle chicken crispers from Chili’s... they have an aftertaste/kick after you are eating it and after a few of em I can hardly taste anything you would probably think it was not spicy at all. And the sauce is like a wet type sauce not dry and it’s really good and sweet and everything at first but it’s got that after kick and I must dip it in ranch or blue cheese.

Can barely even eat buffalo chicken dip.
