Okay, from what I now know, the dad is a pansy, this will be lighter, possibly pearl, snowie, or lavender.

Good read
I have hatched, and for a short time, brooded together chicken and coturnix chicks. It can be done, but there is the danger that the chicken chick will step on the coturnix chick and potentially cause injury. The coturnix were pretty good about not getting stepped on by the "giants" after a while together but not when they first hatched. The coturnix would also run up to the chicken chicks and shove themselves underneath their body, often causing the chicken chick to lose its balance.Yes.. I am hoping to have some free time between all the other things I am doing. My priority is to make a new hatcher, as I prefer a smaller one with transparent lid so I can see inside without opening it. That would be my 4th.. after having 2 incubators and a hatcher.
Lockdown today for 7 quail and 7 chicken eggs.. someone said chicks will not smash the quailies but I am not sure..
Has anyone hatched both chicken and quails at the same time in the same hatcher?
I'll have to check the notes. I was learning and the little buggers suicided. Doing MUCH better now. Wound up with 10 girls and culled down to 3 males from 43 (?) eggs started. You sending this to Zack?@RUNuts Can you remind me please of your set, fertile and hatched info for the original jumbo batch?
