@Texas Kiki If you want to start with a pikachu, ignore the three starter pokemon and walk until you find a pikachu. You shouldn't have to walk more that 1/4 of a km. After you've caught your first pokemon, you'll see more of the game.

Master the curve ball. Spin the ball in a circle and hit the 'mon with a curve. You get a bit more XP, and a slightly higher chance of catching the critter.

Yeah I’m sure there’s tons of YouTube videos haha but also... there wasn’t any tutorial at the beginning when you signed up? Or did you skip it?

I think it tells you if anyone’s near you but I think you have to hit something to show it

If you had downloaded it a few years ago when literally everyone ever was playing it you would’ve blended right in.

I've can only stand to watch 5 minutes at a time so I'll finish watching by tomorrow.

Maybe I’m just crazy but it felt like it was making my phone super slow already

Could also be cause it’s really low on battery atm but still lol feels faster already so

I might finally start using some of the workout apps I have on my phone though

It is a battery and resource hog. You will find that serious players always carry around battery packs and cables.
