I love that noise. You use yours for meat... How many do you make per person? Just trying to decide how many I'll need each hatch

Yes we eat them.
2-3 per person is good for us.

If you want 'cool' quail calls, get some button quail. Their not much good for meat or eggs but got some pretty interesting calls....someone turned Darth Vader loose!

My button quail will immediately start calling like recorded in the first part of the video if I play the violin at a certain pitch. It's pretty funny.
