➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Oh, they definitely were. I'm always covered in scrapes. I stabbed myself in the foot with a fence pole just this week.

Sounds serious haha

My mom's a nurse she would have told me to quit my crying :lau tell me to hold pressure on it then bandage it up. I never got away with faking sick either!

:lau OMG!

I didn’t get away with faking sick but that sounds like it requires stitches and a doctor haha

If this dummy bit me on accident he'd be dead.

Maybe.

No way you could kill Cobra lol

Exactly what happens here.

Even for big injuries like that!? :th

Awe he's handsome! I've never been bit by any of my dogs

I’ve been accidentally bit a lot like when they go to get a toy and accidentally get me but usually never breaks skin haha

I enjoy being in the dark. I wouldn't go out in the woods at night, but inside my own home? I'm fine with it. I figure it's a robbery deterrent—what sane person would break into an entirely dark house from which you could faintly hear the first movement of Sonata K.545 being played? :lau

:lau true! Also if they heard the dog barking lol

I’m weird. I like watching TV and movies in the dark (the glare messes it up) and will sit in my bedroom with no lights on frequently but I hate going into dark rooms or anything with a mirror. Like a dark math room with the huge mirror is TERRIFYING. And I won’t go down a dark hallway or up and down dark stairs or into a dark basement etc. I hate walking into darkness. And even when I have the stair lights on but the lights downstairs are off, I’m constantly looking behind me the whole way up haha

My best friend used to freak out when her toddlers would get a scraped knee.

These kids have issues now.

My kid fell I looked at the other way...didn't pay it any attention.

No babying here.

OMG

you can always tell when children are babied because those are the ones that always cry over everything! My youngest whenever he would fall, you couldn't look at him or he would cry. Now he's pretty tough and doesnt become dramatic when he sees blood, he just slaps a bandage on it after cleaning it out.

That’s good he can do it himself haha

I lied.
The Faker bites me all the time and I haven't killed him yet.

He's just too cute...he gets away with anything.
I guess I can't say mine don't bite me because my little gremlin likes to play bite, but does it hard. She's a monster.

This was after her first haircut

I fully admit that I am probably a bit too “sterile.”

I’m a bit OCD and wash my hands waaaaaaaayyyyy too much. Although the funny thing is I will also go outside barefoot and do other stuff all of which is probably way worse and way more likely to make me sick yet I wash my hands a hundred million times. :lau

But anyway, even so, I always sanitize every injury even small ones. You never know.

Just last week I got a big scrape on my arm from a piece of rotten wood and I ran in and washed it with soap and water and put alcohol on it. We didn’t have neosporin or anything or I would have done that but thankfully it’s been fine. But I don’t think I could ever not clean a wound lol I’m paranoid. I wiped it with alcohol like 3 times :lau
Oddly enough, I am far more germ-phobic about "people germs". I always wash my hands extensively after going, say, to a yard sale, a store, or elsewhere that I handle things not belonging to me. Best way I can describe it is that other people's things "feel" dirty whereas animals don't. It's not based in reality, I know.

The dog's no help, she sleeps more soundly than I do.
