➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Pretty sure I wrote that down in the section about the set date, but I could be wrong. I keep thinking I've done things and then remembering I just thought about it. :th
I probably didn't even read the whole thing :lau I set mine too early to even have mine near Thanksgiving, but I did do the Halloween hatch a long.

It's off by a day so peeps don't have to have chicks hatching when they're travelling or having guests over. The EHAL does the same thing.

Ohhhh okay. That makes a lot of sense!! Didn’t think about that. Thank you!!

Smart thinking... So @KDOGG331 everyone set them then.

I agree! Very smart. And at least I didn’t get it wrong :lau

I didn’t see it in there but maybe I missed it lol

I read it but didn’t see it haha

Tell them all to hurry up and dry off.
I'm dying to see their colors.
I see Tibetan and some red tuxs.
A few are still in the bator fluffing but I'll get their pictures in the morning.

Awesome! Thank you for sharing. I have so much to do today and I only slept 4 hours! Hope everyone has a great day today!
Yeah, me too! Gotta get some more tin, to finish up topping the chicken yard off & putting up a wind block for them as well. My DH has caught a bit of the quail bug, he's wanting to build an aviary of sorts for the Bobs.

How many do you have so far?
13 :jumpyout & all fluffed.
Looked like most of the eggs left are externally pipped from what I could see too. Today is day 17 (12 eggs left).

:caf @Kiki here's you a color update. Anyone got any ideas on this little dummy that I have circled? It's got the cutest smash face!:love

Our neighborhood yard dogs keep everything in check, except for from the air. Snakes, squirrels, raccoons, possums, rats, mice, cats:oops:.... in exchange they get flea & tick collars & can sleep on my porch! Fair exchange IMO.

When I find a snake in the laying box this is how I ventilate the barn!!! I got my ceramic egg back from that snake too!

My DH caught the chick bug... He loves hatching chicks, I won't argue about hatching more :gig

Well, unfortunately I have to close my flock now since I obviously brought in an infected chicken somehow. I'm not gonna bother with hatching chicken eggs I guess, nothing a good case of coryza won't ruin!!!
