Quail getting into position to break out of the egg
Ahhh okay. That makes sense. Should have figured quail since we’re on the quail thread but the cockerel thing threw me off haha
I muck up the thread with all my critters, I don't know how to not screw up @Kiki thread.
Sorry.

:lau you’re not mucking it up! It was still about quail lol I muck it up all the time. All the novels and off topic tangents :lau :hide

I thought some people didn’t like the off topic stuff????

But maybe novels are worse haha

Sorry. :hide

I’ve tried not typing them, I really have, but it never works. Even if it starts short, it always ends longer. But I guess I should work on it a bit. :hide

But even on topic ones?

But I guess some are totally unnecessary like the one about the rooms or animals or whatever the other day haha and that one I probably should have not typed, off topic and a novel, so sorry, but others if I try to shorten it it leaves important stuff out. But I guess I need to work on it/try harder. :hide

Or avoid posting if I can’t haha

Sorry. :hide

Wait... is this one? Shit. :hide

:thYikes! I hadn't even thought about that possibility! Thanks for that reminder, good idea on the deposit.:goodpost:
Definitely get a deposit and might want to have something in writing clearly explaining that they are responsible for the chicks/birds and when they must be picked up, etc, and what will happen to them if not picked up (resale/eaten/etc). That way if things go south, you have clear contract in case you need to take them to small claims court or defend yourself.

They will likely want less birds than they originally claimed once they see numbers in writing, especially the part about non refundable deposit and total cost.

I haven't heard back from them anyways. I only have 10 extra males until my hatch next week, then I'd be having to wait a few weeks to sex them.

That's why I'm really tempted to get the egg sets from myshire that will hatch Egyptians and regular Pharoahs, so their babies will be auto sexing.
