If they were mine, I would not stick them in that cage. I start my poults in a 4'x4' brooder. By the time they are 2 weeks old, I move them to a grow out pen that is approximately 7'x8'. They are typically starting to fly by the time they are 2 weeks old.

I may have to figure something else out then. I can work on it this week. Gotta put my carpenters hat on!
