@Kiki I saw on youtube that you have a video entitled "3PM check". Did that chick make it? How did the shell come to be broken like that?

One of the quail eggs I received through ebay was broken in a similar way but the membrane was still intact. I put it in the incubator just to see what would happen. It's developing so far but I doubt itll go all the way. Just curious about what happened with yours...

Let me go find that video... Without seeing it I'm guessing that you watched an externally pipped egg and it probably made it out.

I figured it probably didn't make it and I'm not counting on mine making it either. I didn't even include it in the count I gave you because I'd consider it a throw-away. I thought it'd be a cool experiment though...also, I liked the idea of watching the development up until it quits.

If I were you I'd get rid of the cracked egg immediately.
Too much of a chance of it getting bacteria and infected.
