The second chick is out. The first is more yellow with dark stripes while the second is dark with yellow. I’m surprised, @RUNuts that it’s the fresher eggs hatching when it was the older eggs that I saw veining in first. I thought they’d be the ones popping out first.

Duckling actually left a bit ago. I’m drinking White Russians now.
I am appalled that you don’t drink much! The Christian Brothers and a bottle of bitters are the only things unopened. I didn’t know I’d like gin and tonics so much, so I’ll need to figure out how to keep that in stock.

This doesn’t show the vanilla extract (bottle of vodka) or big bottle of Kahlua/coffee liqueur (bottle of rum) I have in another cabinet.

The thing about my stash is that I didn't buy any of it. Other than my homemade wine, all the rest were either gifts or barter.

I like the filling with water idea. I’ll try propping the lid on a bit too.
I think things are improving. No more have dropped dead for the last several hours anyway. One still looks a bit off kilter but the others seem perky. Down to 12 though.
