My flashlight actually looks similar to yours

It's hard but you have to be able to block all of the light out....you can't let any of the light shine around the egg.

Does that make sense?

I thought I was getting these eggs tomorrow so this morning when I collected my own eggs I put them straight into the fridge.

I'm waiting to do my second round of collecting...I think the second round is going to be added to what I'm calling the Cinco de Mayo Dummies in the bator.

I don't know lickety split about faker quail colors... But I take a wild guess and bet they're going to be white.
