My hatch is done! Somehow I missed an early quitter, but here are my final numbers.

Clear: 6
EQ: 2
Hatched: 24

K
Set: 41
Clear: 2
Hatched: 39

Total 63 healthy chicks. Tomorrow I move them to the brooder that's 4 times the size of this one. I hope they know how to find the warm spot by then.

I gotta kick these chickens out of my incubator first, but they should be fully cooked by Wed/Thur of next week and then I am open for business!
So excited!!!!

I don't feel comfortable sending anything over three or four days.
So three or four days before you're ready let me know and I'll start collecting.
I prefer only 3 days.

I just found a local breeder that has Egyptian, Jumbo white/wild, Falb Fee, Rosetta, and Tuxedo.

I'm going to get them. 40 of them

Talk about an amazing hatch rate, especially from shipped eggs. I'm very pleased with this hatch.

29 set 15 clear 3 early quitters leaves 11

7 died in shell
4 hatched.

Of those 4, 3 were boys who killed 3 hens including the only girl from this hatch. So I killed them right back. Welcome to Texas. Second white girl is still recovering and laying eggs. The Lucky line continues.

I started off this year terrible. 71 hatched this year though with 41 eggs in the incubator for QB#15 started on 5/1. There will be BBQ.
