āž” Quail Hatch Along🄚

i have two chicks! one Texas A&M, and one tibetan so far! They're still in the incubator and hatched about an hour ago. When should i take them out? I have 7 eggs left.
The texas a&m is called dandelion and the tibetan is called Moth. (her half brother is named hawk.)

I love those names! I am always trying not to name them because I can't keep the roosters. But I failed again and named the tiniest one shrew. It is making progress, started walking two days ago and is eating from the feeder since yesterday. I have hope. :bow

Was I supposed to wait until they were fully dry? Cause I definitely didn’t do that with the last two I helped out. pretty sure I put them in like immediately after hatch šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ™ˆ or at least like within the half hour. šŸ™ˆ they were fine though and dried in there. ā¤ļø And most I did wait for and leave them in a while first or they hatched overnight and were already dry but I was a bit impatient with the last two/anxious to get them in with their buddies šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

Her accent/voice...is fantastic.

Absolutly!!! Agreed to both.

Haha someone has to - I hate my own voice lol

It is, that you hear youself normally from the "inside" and if hear a recording (without your body's resonance), you will be not used to it.
Your voice is beautyful šŸ‘Œ

Sorry ... was late for me yesterday ... just trying to catch up some post

The silver striped yellow one on the last pic, I don't know ... I am curious either.

I found this @KDOGG331 (sorry a very blurry pic, but I think it hits the silver striped yellow one)... The chicks in the left upper corner:

i need help. My fourth chick came out late last night and right now it's 7:00 AM. She still isn't out of her shell yet. Her feet, 3 quarters of her back, and her head are out, but the rest of her behind her legs is stilll in the egg. What should i do? should i take all of them out and get the egg off her while i do that or just reach in and pop it off? she doesn't look very fluffy though.
