Anyone in here pickle their own quail eggs? I've never had pickled eggs before, but I like eggs and I like pickles, lol, so I'm thinking of trying it. What does a pickled egg taste like?

I make them for my husband and daughter but I don’t eat eggs. I make a few different flavors, mustard is the house fave. They’re very popular here, and they love deviled eggs made with them.

Are these Roux Dilute or light Pharaos or anything else.

We have a color mutation, coming from the Netherlands the last years, we call (translated) Brown-Wildpattern. Are these Egyptians? Or how would these be called in the US?

I have heard people saying light pharaoh and brown pharaoh, and I think that looks like what you have. My Egyptians are very red. When they were chicks, were their stripes brown or red?

also my Egyptians have more of a maroon or burgundy color feet and beaks.

So Egyptians are Roux Dilute (the left one)?

The darker ones are the Roux chicks.
