I asked them where they bought their eggs from.
I remember them posting a link to an eBay seller.

I cannot find this thread to save my life.
I was pretty sure it was here in the quail section but maybe it wasn't.

You don't have to put feed all over the floor either.

You don't have to do that, but the chicks will kick it all over the floor anyway. Why waste the effort of making a nice pile if they are going to redecorate?

I had one lot that wanted to be NFL place kickers. Over the dividing wall, straight into the waterer. Couldn't keep the food out of the water in that brooder.

I give them a few hours just to figure out that there is food in the little dish I'll see what I do next.
I do not like a mess and they're going to learn really quickly because I'm not going to give them an option to make a mess with the feed.
