I've been wanting this incubator for about 6 months. It's not exactly an impulse buy. I just bought it a bit sooner than I was planning on.

Hopefully I'll be able to sell all of the chicks!

Guess I missed your post....what brand is your new bator?

Think how much trouble you could get into with a cabinet incubator and double stacking the trays.

We'll have to see how much of a market there is up at the new place. If there's enough, I might invest in one. Now, that's scary.

Two days until hatch....already have some pipping! 50 Mexican Speckeled Bob's. Had 2 infertile eggs!

Also have 50 Tennessee Reds and 50 Snowflakes. Staggered hatch! only have 4 Snowflakes that were infertile, all the Tennessee Reds are fertile/developing.

I got the 249 with the humidity pump. @RoosterML has one and really likes it. I'm going to be able to run mine for a while before my eggs arrive so I can see how well it holds temp and humidity.

I have a small Rite Farm incubator that has the universal rails like the Borotto does, and I know I prefer those over the quail rails that the Hovabator has. I've had more trouble with those rails and the motor than I want to deal with.

I have a small Rite Farm incubator that has the universal rails like the Borotto does, and I know I prefer those over the quail rails that the Hovabator has. I've had more trouble with those rails and the motor than I want to deal with.

Yeah, I've had to replace the motor on my turners....they just don't last in the humid environment.

I have the Rite Farm 1200. It's small capacity, but I like it better than my Hovabator, to be honest. I still use it for button quail. The first one I got had a broken turner, and when I contacted them they told me they were shipping a replacement and not to bother returning the broken one. I expected a new turner. They sent me a whole incubator. That means that I have one that I use as a hatcher, which is really convenient when I want to separate celadon from regular eggs.

Pansy fee aren't feather sexable by the breasts. Give us a good picture of their heads, and we might be able to tell.
