➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

My eggs are still "in transit, on their way to the next destination".

I've contacted Zack. Hopefully he can get reimbursed for the shipment and send me a new one. I guess it's time to unplug the incubators for a few days.

So sorry! That’s sad for you, Zack, and the baby eggs! :-(

I'm back for another hatch. One Coturnix batch resulted in a grand total of three females, second batch I didn't get nearly as many as I wanted to build my stock, so I'm going for another 48 eggs. Also doing another lot of button quail since most of those are also male and I wanted at least a pair per bird aviary

I'm a few days away from lockdown. Hoping for a good hatch with healthy chicks. Total sixteen incubating, with a few infertile ones among them.

Meanwhile, I have a crazy hen I'm dealing with at the same time. The other hens hate her but this person has a soft spot for the abused one. She's only crazy because she was the prize for two competitive roos. That's before I realized how competitive roos can be.

Thanks! :) Now I am wondering if these are okay?? For one of them, I can't seem to see an air sack...
This early in you really shouldn't be seeing air cells yet
How old were the eggs when you set them?

Forgive me if you've already said this but I don't have time to read back.
