You are always looking for troublemakers. I've a couple cockerels in the backyard that are troublemakers. But they are way too skinny to solve the problem for now.

Guys ... on which day do I lockdown for cali eggs? I'm used to buttons going on day 15 ... do these guys need a lil longer? We're on day 12 xx

I lockdown on day 21, usually they pip on day 23 and finish hatching on day 24 or 25. My temp is 100°F and humidity is raised to 55_60% but don't go over 60% or you'll encounter problems.

My quail hatch is over.
I'll let you guess on how many hatched but I'm not going to tell you how many until after the Easter hatch along contest is over.
I'll give you a hint... Some would call it perfect.

I ended up with a box of chocolates. Looks like at least 4 different colors...maybe 5.
