I can't keep up with this thread.. no time to review articles :barnie

If you really want ducks I have fertile eggs ;)

@KikisGirls can you send the mite spay picture to my in box please? By the time I get to the store after work there will be 1000 more pages on here and I will never find it.

I better covered my vent holes on the coops and locked everyone up roughly from 7-7 (they weren't happy) and everyone is alive this morning.

The coop is raised off the ground and not walk in or attached to any other building so the cat/dogs/humans cannot go inside it so hopefully all will be safe from the chemicals except the mites, all the mites better die.

Also thinking of looking at traps while I'm at the ranch store. If I could trap a weasel or a vole or a prairie dog or a rabbit overnight that would be fantastic. I have a friend that had a prairie dog break into his greenhouse one summer so he set a trap. In a week he trapped 140 of the buggers! Their population is not suffering.

if you trap the food supply for an established weasel she will be more likely to go after chickens.. at least that is what they say.

Weasels are hard to trap... rat trap in a box seems to be the safest when you have chickens.. I was worried about the chicks going in the hole... and I always seem to have chicks. http://ecofarmingdaily.com/snap-build-a-weasel-trap-to-protect-your-poultry/
