You’re right to be salty, IMHO.If I can figure out how to make one I will.
And yes, I will this time because if she does I need to clean house. And I was planning on showing next year so knowing if I have it is kind of a big deal.
I'm not going to be like Egg Man and act like I don't have issues....... (Can you tell I'm a bit salty?)
FYI, marek’s cannot be cleaned out with any sort of ease. It’s theorized that the dust can stay in soil for several years and still be contagious. What breeders/showers do when they have Marek's, I have no idea.. every responsible flock owner I’ve heard of who has a less lethal strain just keeps a closed flock for life.
Not every type shows anything wrong with their eyes, by the way. The listlessness, paralysis, and wasting away is all clear enough signs to me. When my very first flock got it, it was a very hot strain and wiped 10 out of 12 out probably within a month, right before they hit POL. The last two showed no signs but were killed by raccoons in our last ditch attempt at a quarantine cage.
