Eventing! I was taking lessons for a dressage/hunter jumper barn and occasionally we would do some cross country jumps. I never did get to do the full thing but I want to some day in the future.

That sounded like our mini, Snoopy! I got him to love water from the hose though.

It’s the same surface, he’s just a doofus. In all the places we’ve had him he’s done the same thing.


We have 5. They’re a lot of fun and work! All of them have different “quirks” that we work through. Oliver was severely abused so even after almost 2 years he still isn’t trusting of us and has a permanent stifle issue. Guinness with his past and hocks, Mammoth with his past and an old leg injury, Kansas has a sensitive GI tract, and Snoopy is a butterball who gets into anything and everything, a kill buyer tried to buy him out from underneath us but we got him first. We’ve been keeping an eye out for a miniature mare but nothing has appeared so far.

Oh what a doofus! Had one at the barn I used to ride at that would stick her neck out of her stall and try to eat what you were eating if you sat too close lol

No thanks! Saw it once as a kid and it didn’t sit well with me, turns out for good reason.
Did you know something like 20 kittens died during filming? Most of them from being thrown over a waterfall in a certain river scene.

Never liked that movie much anyway. It was kind of weird how the narrator was talking for the animals.

I liked homeward bound.

Animals die or get hurt in lots of movies though apparently. Or abused. Especially the apes and big cats and elephants and stuff

Thankfully lots is CGI now so less use for big cats and live animals but even dogs and cats can and have been abused or killed.

That was kind of the max I was thinking, my Marans man usually gives me 14 when I purchase a dozen, cause that's what he does when he ships, even thought I pick mine up. I think I will just politely refuse the extras and explain why. thanks for the advice, I just needed some back up, that my thinking was correct and I wasn't just falling under the spell of chicken math/ hatching.
