That was kind of the max I was thinking, my Marans man usually gives me 14 when I purchase a dozen, cause that's what he does when he ships, even thought I pick mine up. I think I will just politely refuse the extras and explain why. thanks for the advice, I just needed some back up, that my thinking was correct and I wasn't just falling under the spell of chicken math/ hatching.

I loved oreos as a kid, but now I'm a homemade cookies type of person. I make an "everything" cookie with oatmeal, chocolate chips, walnuts, raisins, dried cherries, cinnamon and vanilla. A little vanilla ice cream and you have one of my favorite comfort desserts. I tell myself the oats make it healthy.

Sounds delicious!

That sounded like our mini, Snoopy! I got him to love water from the hose though.

It’s the same surface, he’s just a doofus. In all the places we’ve had him he’s done the same thing.


We have 5. They’re a lot of fun and work! All of them have different “quirks” that we work through. Oliver was severely abused so even after almost 2 years he still isn’t trusting of us and has a permanent stifle issue. Guinness with his past and hocks, Mammoth with his past and an old leg injury, Kansas has a sensitive GI tract, and Snoopy is a butterball who gets into anything and everything, a kill buyer tried to buy him out from underneath us but we got him first. We’ve been keeping an eye out for a miniature mare but nothing has appeared so far.

This is wonderful. So good of you to give a home to these horses.

No thanks! Saw it once as a kid and it didn’t sit well with me, turns out for good reason.
Did you know something like 20 kittens died during filming? Most of them from being thrown over a waterfall in a certain river scene.

I'm truly aghast.

ummm maybe , but I can't find anything definite that they died... but the excuse for using so many animals is that it took 4 years to film and the babies grew up. Hard to believe a cat over the waterfall would survive though.
