They're quite funny. Lexie especially. She takes great joy in bouncing around the yard like a runaway tyre.

The skin is pretty thin, easier to skin them and cut up both sides of the spine and make the bird lay flat. Easier to get the guts out that way too. Then you can wrap in bacon and cook.

Plucking was a crap shoot. Ending up skinning anyway.

@KikisGirls give the Rat a turtleneck. Use those short crew socks. Cut just below the heel for holes for the front legs. The toe covers the rear if you make a hole or slit for his tail.
We had teacup Chihuahua as well as regular sized and jumbo...a total of 19 tappers. Our smallest weighed 13 ounces and our biggest was 13 pounds.

Ohh the sock shirt is a good idea!
