Beautiful sunrise this am. Went out to feed the kids. Looks like there was a boy in the younger group. Hope no more develop drake curls! I now have two boys and four girls.

We had a young coyote in the pasture and it was trying to get into the yard to get the chickens. It ran off stumbling and shaking it’s head.

What time of day? By itself? They usually run in a pack around here. Could be injured or ill and abandoned by the pack. Chances are it will be back.

Or did you get off a good shot?

It was around 3:30 - 4:00pm. It was by itself, we usually hear the pack once dusk sets in but this was in broad daylight. We have a secure fence around the pastures, but he managed to find the one hole that some old neighbor dogs dug. That's been fixed. We only had time to grab the airsoft, but my dad did get it scared out. The coyote was sitting in the pasture while we were screaming at it, and it couldn't stay steady on it's feet. I looked over the horses, there was no marks so it never made it to them. Our larger mini is a dog fighter which is concerning when a coyote is in the pasture during the day.

That is great! It will be here before you know it. Can’t remember when the house was built but I’m not too surprised about the insulation. Glad you took it down to the studs and can do it right!
The house was built in 1932.
Surprisingly, there wasn't even any old newspapers or anything :hmm I was looking forward to finding cool old stuff in the walls.

Parvo, kick to the head, serious injury....hopefully not rabies....could have ingested anti-freeze.
