Haven't found the goats yet. Found some cayugas from the woman i bought my incubator from. Also going to try balutties.

The fellow in the bottom picture is STUNNING! I love everything about him. His comb is amazing. His wattles even look impressive to me. His stance and tail feathers cascading out and down... I think he is just so handsome.Almost year-old brothers from different clutches

Interesting. So are all games birds like that? Like have to have their combs and wattles removed? Is it akin to docking a dogs tail or pinning ears back? tradition. It doesn't look like a gamecock if left natural. My wife hates if they're not dubbed she says they look goofy if left intact. And yes it was removed when fought so the opponent couldn't bill. Hold them down with thier beakCurious why? Is it required for show? Or still just tradition or? it used to be when they were still fought so they wouldn’t get injured, right? But since I am assuming they are obviously not fought anymore, why is it still done? In the breed standard? Just curious/trying to learn more.
