I'm more of a livestock gal. Dogs have never been my thing for some reason. Not sure why.Aw well dogs aren’t for everyone!! It sounds like she isn’t too much of a troublemaker though lol that’s good. I am crazy about dogs.

So far I've had the most birds die to dogs, by far. They probably do help with the other predators, but I wish they'd "help" without their teeth.
Ditto. I don't make a hobby out of the wild birds, but I love seeing them at the feeder and hearing their calls. What I really want is a pet crow. If only it weren't illegal.
I have a group of them around most summers and it gives me great joy to hear the call they make when they're harassing a hawk. I've been tempted to put out a corn feeder for them just to provide incentive to stay.
but worth his weight in gold for coyotes, foxes, raccoons, etc. and in his defense, I don’t think he saw or heard hawks and he was a house pet, not outside 24/7, so not much he could do against them. Maybe if he was outside when hawks attacked, he would have protected them from them. So far I've had the most birds die to dogs, by far.
