I didn't cry until I took the cape thing off and felt the hair on my shoulders.

A small reward is much sweeter than a big binge where you are just stuffing it down.

As a diabetic, I try to eat four to six small meals during the day to help balance out the blood sugar during the day.
Breakfast, mid morning snack (a piece of fruit, raw veggie or handful of nuts), lunch, mid afternoon snack (yogurt or sugar free jello or celery and peanut butter), dinner, bedtime snack (something light...jello pudding or a Glucerna shake).
I keep pecans, almonds or raw peanuts on the table so I can grab a quick handful between tasks and I keep a thermos bottle of ice water on the table as well.
Cut up raw veggies like carrots celery or Swiss chard make quick snacks.
Cold fruit...1/2 Apple or peach or banana or a handful of frozen seedless grapes are cooling snacks.

Grandma...made meals for diabetic grandpa...said,
"Breakfast is gold, lunch is silver, dinner is lead and anything after that is concrete!"
She was a spunky, active lady who lived to 101.

Quite the shock then huh? It will do that to ya. Why did you decide to go that short then? I know it probably won't help now but once you have a few days, maybe even a week to get used to it, you may find that you love it. And it isn't permanent. It is temporary because it will grow back out. :hugs
