Fly killers are friends. I don't take kindly to the type that hide in corners and don't build webs, but that spider looks like a real sweetie.I don't squish fly killers.

I prefer them somewhere in the middle. When I used to pet sit, I took care of many, many labs. The big ones were dumb as rocks and not well bred. They were ancient looking at age 7. The best representations of the breed I've known have heavier bones, block heads, and a shorter stature. They were more medium in size than large. I've not seen super short ones, but I have seen many that were far too large.I personally hate the super short stout ones. I mean, I do much prefer English Labs over American Labs, the super tall and lanky triangle American ones are NOT Labs to me so I prefer block heads too, they have English have better personalities too imo, BUT what I mean/the reason I don’t like them now is they’re breeding them way too short and fat now IMO, they are getting shorter and shorter. They have no leg anymore. Our old Lab was huge. A bull moose. Built like a tank. They’re not like that anymore. If I could find a more moderate, leggy, show Lab, I would be really happy. But they are VERY rare these days.
The death care industry! Good for her. People (and pets) don't stop dying, which is great for job security. I work primarily with funeral homes myself, so I can tell you that the memorial jewelry business appreciates young blood. You are so active! These two years will fly by! Life goes so quickly....enjoy every bit.
Our granddaughter just graduated today with her Asso in Science from a two year college...starts a new job this summer and going to school for her Mortuary degree for the next several years.
Getting older in body too....good thing the brain isn't fleeting.![]()
Are you typically iron deficient? Thanks!’ That makes a lot of sense and is very interesting but it is annoying when it takes forever to stop gushing and drips blood all over everything lol
What did you do?
No. We paid $20,000 for this truck used a couple of years ago. A 2009, it only has 70,000 miles on the engine. To replace it with a new truck would be more than triple the cost to repair it.
Thanks...both are adopted.
Yes! Even with trading in this one on a new truck, payments would have been $900 for 60 months plus excise tax and tags and higher insurance.
Green jumping spiders are great in my plants in the kitchen window for any pesky fly.
The Fuzzy ones are safer than those without fuzz like Black Widow, Brown Recluse, etc. While the fuzzy ones do bite, the bite is not as poisonous.
Mom was a science teacher. We grew up with Tarantulas, Wolf spiders, snakes, centipedes and scorpions as house guests in the summer while school was out.
Hey! How y'all are? Where have you been? We have missed you!
Are you still enjoying the snakes and their rat eating benefit?
Hubby keeps telling me that Python and Anaconda populations have exploded and are now being hunted.

Labs are nice dogs. A lot of variety within the breed, and the number one dog in this country for pretty much ever. I'd wager a bet that there's a reason for that! I enjoy them as "other people's dogs". They're a bit needy for my taste.

I know I am, and whenever I get my finger pricked for blood donation if it doesn’t stop bleeding by the time the hematocrit comes back then I always know I’m under.
When we were blood-typing in my AP A&P high school course, I had to hold a bandage to my finger for the entire hour and a half of class, and my wonderful teacher told me to eat a block of iron lol!
Have you ever donated blood? Or had any bloodwork done?I don’t think I am but I don’t know? Not sure how I’d know? I don’t normally bleed a ton but yeah, this one took forever to stop ha but definitely not an hour and a half! OMG! Lol but definitely a long time and it probably wasn’t really gushing but didn’t stop for a bit ha
My heart hurts reading this. This is such an absolutely horrible story and I am crying just reading it. So so sad. I feel so bad for the boy’s family and friends and everyone else that knew him. Just awful.
