➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I'm good. the deluge last night back up the ditches. When the ditches are full, EVERYTHING gets wet. We have decent drainage. The 12" in an hour thing is not common.

Some places flooded that did not flood during Harvey. It all depends on where the rain comes down. I'm afraid this will be another bad year for the insurance companies and the people who file claims. C'est la vie.
Glad to hear you are okay. :highfive: :celebrate

How does @Texas Kiki feel about spiders?

Jumping spider with lunch
full
What a great photo!:bow

Sorry about the truck!! That sucks!! Can’t you just get a new truck with that money?
And aw cute dogs!!
No. We paid $20,000 for this truck used a couple of years ago. A 2009, it only has 70,000 miles on the engine. To replace it with a new truck would be more than triple the cost to repair it.
Thanks...both are adopted.

ACV is good with anything
a new diesel ton truck is over 70K
Yes! Even with trading in this one on a new truck, payments would have been $900 for 60 months plus excise tax and tags and higher insurance.

X2. The picture is a really good picture and the green is kinda cool but I HATE spiders lol they creep me out so much. Although actually fuzzy ones seem to be the worst lol
Green jumping spiders are great in my plants in the kitchen window for any pesky fly.
The Fuzzy ones are safer than those without fuzz like Black Widow, Brown Recluse, etc. While the fuzzy ones do bite, the bite is not as poisonous.
Mom was a science teacher. We grew up with Tarantulas, Wolf spiders, snakes, centipedes and scorpions as house guests in the summer while school was out.

After Katrina, I caught wild snakes to put in my yard in hopes of lowering the rat population; While helping to clean my brother's house, he started screaming like a little girl, i had a large box in my hands and asked why he was having a fit. he just kept yelling " a rat, a rat" so I asked where and he said it was running across my feet. MY response was oh, and I kept walking (I was wearing boots ;) ), Recently we had the bedroom windows open and I awoke to a rat looking back at me. I woke up DH, told him there was a rat in our room, and he turned over and went back to sleep. :lau I went down stairs and slept. That I found creepy
Hey! How y'all are? Where have you been? We have missed you!
Are you still enjoying the snakes and their rat eating benefit?
Hubby keeps telling me that Python and Anaconda populations have exploded and are now being hunted.

No the snakes disappeared rather quickly, possibly hawks

We are doing well, except I miss my BYC time. I went back to work, DD starts college in 2 years :th And the old lady that I am gets worn out working :lau:lau
You are so active! These two years will fly by! Life goes so quickly....enjoy every bit.
Our granddaughter just graduated today with her Asso in Science from a two year college...starts a new job this summer and going to school for her Mortuary degree for the next several years.
Getting older in body too....good thing the brain isn't fleeting. :lau:lau
