➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

The bottom of the pot had some fake holes. Holes that were not punched open so the water could not drain out.

Somebody was watering it like every day and I went to pick it up to move it to clean the window sill I tilt it just a little bit and water was just pouring out of it so I think it has been sitting in water for a while now.

I'm trying hard to keep people here from watering my cactus pot. My perp is an adult so less accepting of my rules than the kids

Oh, and this is another chicken and egg thing. Were they watering it daily because of the browning or did the browning start because it was being watered daily? Either way, I'd prune while you're fixing that pot. If you see more browning or happen to have some around, I wouldn't hesitate to spritz it with a copper type of fungicide. The pine we lost to patchy browning took two years to die and if I'd known more at the time, I might have been able to save it. But husband had an intense dislike for that tree so he was happy to see it go and would have resisted the rescue effort.

It is not a requirement to kill something in order to have a successful hunt. On the other hand, the most blood thirsty hunters that I have run into are converted bunny huggers.
I was a 'bunny hugger' once too. Then I tried butchering chickens and realized people were overstating how terrible it was. It doesn't bother me now. Critters aren't immortal, what we're doing is simply herd management. Give them a good life, a quick death, and they've come out far ahead of most wild animals. I'd say a bullet for a deer is a sight kinder than starvation or wolf pack. (I still have a soft spot for actual bunnies, but they look pretty tasty...)

Some people don't change from that, though. I have a neighbour that's been a livestock keeper probably her whole life. Working steers, chickens, meat turkeys, sheep, goats, who knows what else. She still can't cull birds herself and has a lot of pets.

I think the Browning didn't start taking l after the regular drowning but I'm not sure.

Go tell the daycare place you want to work there. Then you will have both.

Good point lol

Does TexMex go to work with you yet?

I hope so

Yep! I bring both my dogs to work every day. TexMex gets the big snip tomorrow, so he has to skip.

That’s awesome you take them to work! I didn’t realize that. I thought you went home and got them and went to the park ha

And aww poor baby lol

Cone head!

Lol yup. Although Frank had the soft donut thing

Yep. He'll be donning the cone.

Poor guy lol

I already feel sorry for him.:(

Same lol but he’ll get over it.

Me too. The boss got a little mini Aussie female and he's just all up in her business. The world doesn't need more unwanted puppies more than cricket needs his nuts. I still feel bad.

Awww. I’m sure they would have been cute pups but it’s awesome you did the responsible thing!

I don’t think there’s necessarily anything wrong with that though if she’s happy and can afford to keep them.

I didn't say that. It's just a different mindset.

Yeah I know you didn’t. Sorry. It’s just the last sentence it kind of almost sounded a little bit judgemental or something like that she should be able to do it by now and/or having a lot of pets is bad or something. But I know you’re like the least judgemental person ever and didn’t mean it that way. I think I just read it wrong or more personal because that woman is probably gonna be me haha sorry.
