Anybody know what the brown on this dumb little plant means?

I've had it inside on a window sill not in the direct light.

I think somebody waters it too much and that's what's causing it to turn brown.
Somebody thinks that it needs direct sunlight and put it outside this morning.

The issue is that it is an outdoor plant being grown indoors. Keep it outside and it will be happier.

My dad is a Bonsai enthusiast. People often come to the local Bonsai Club and ask why their store bought tree isn’t thriving. This is usually the problem. Places that sell this sort of thing don’t tell you that junipers aren’t indoor plants :rolleyes:

The fake drainage holes and glued on gravel that some have really don’t help either.
