Not 39.
Okay I will now. And don’t worry, I won’t take that many.

Sorry..... kind of accidentally took 39 after all....was trying to get different angles though haha as you can see, they’re like half the coop
not quite but still. I think they’re like 18x18x18 or something like that. I wanted to make them bigger and deeper because the ones in the old coop were way too small and the girls barely fit. But I think I made them a little too big lol but I think it would be fine with just less shavings in there? Sometimes I use close to a whole bag or at least like half of one of shavings in there.
probably don’t need like a foot of shavings LOL
Also sorry for the mess, gonna completely clean out the coop at some point this week I just haven’t had the time yet and won’t until at least Wednesday or Thursday.

Do the even have room to get in a box to lay an egg?
Remove 90% of those shavings.
I didn't know they made waterers for ducks

I read the reviews...while deeper than chicken waterers, they apparently are difficult to keep clean.Me neither. I think I need to try the heated version, if I can find a similar one.
Agreed!

Chickens...some not all...will do a penguin stand or tall squat to lay their eggs. May be digging a deeper nest hole to give enough room for their laying stance.Yeah they do! Although I have a feeling that may be why the eggs are being buried? Because they are kicking shavings out to fit better??
And okay, will do.

Nana, you’re a toad-napper!!Love toads! When we lived in the big city, Hubby and I used to go to the parking lot off season at the state fairgrounds to catch toads under the lights. Took an ice chest and caught them to take home to the garden.
Congratulations! You are again an aunt! What a beautiful baby! Love her name too.Nana, you’re a toad-napper!!
That sounds like a fun memory. I love toads so much. We had a big ol’ grandpa toad that lived in our garden for several years when I was growing up, every spring he’d come out of hiding for yummies with all his toad-children.
I’m so sorry about your brother-in-law.He will certainly be in my prayers, along with his family and loved ones. I can’t even imagine.
While we’re swapping prayer requests, keep my sister in your prayers as well. She’s been back and forth with doctors for some time now trying to find the source of these fainting episodes she’s had for a while. They finally found a probably source—a tumor on her adrenal gland—and she’s going in for an MRI soon to confirm. We’re all hoping it’s a small and non-cancerous tumor that can be easily surgically removed so she can finally move on with her life.
In happier news, my sister in law had her baby.Meet sweet little Caroline Rose.
