My physics final is today at 10am. Wish me luck ‘cause I’m royally screwed.
This class has been my worst nightmare in every way. My teacher is in hospital (possibly dead, they won’t tell us) and our subs are just the worst.
The entire class has been uprooted and every lecture/lab for the last 2 weeks has turned into heated arguments between professors and students. It’s chaos.

I just don’t have any spirit left in me. I didn’t even want to take this class.
There’s no way I’m getting an A.. on the bright side, I’m already in the BIMS department, so this class isn’t even counting toward my new gpa. Doesn’t make me feel any better.

But if it helps at all, which it probably won’t, it is not your fault and I’m sure everybody will be having problems with that particular class! Seems those professors need to get their act together.

But that said, I know you’re gonna do great on it!

Remember now that long ago you thought you were gonna fail that other test cause you didn’t get to study much but then you got an A!? I am sure this will be the same way.

But if it helps at all, which it probably won’t, it is not your fault and I’m sure everybody will be having problems with that particular class! Seems those professors need to get their act together.

But that said, I know you’re gonna do great on it!

Remember now that long ago you thought you were gonna fail that other test cause you didn’t get to study much but then you got an A!? I am sure this will be the same way.

Whatever. A B isn’t a bad grade. It’ll be the second B I’ve ever gotten. I just feel like a loser for not trying.

Yes, everyone in my class is in the same boat. Almost everyone has complained to the dean and we were collectively dismissed. We’ve all been treated like children and it’s incredibly disheartening. There’s no communication and our grades have been messed up several times now, all at the fault of our new subs.

All of my classmates are now at the point of “why should we put in the work if none of you (administration) give a **** about us.”
Yes... it’s counterintuitive and doesn’t help anyone.
No... none of us care anymore.

Accept the challenge and simply try do your best.

Hopefully the professor is going to be available to evaluate the past two weeks and give a fair assessment of grades.
Sorry the dean has dismissed the student claims about the sub teachers and the problems in the class.

I am sorry to hear that.

But do know that you are NOT a loser and you HAVE tried, you work incredibly hard, but this is clearly a losing situation and NOT at your fault or because of anything you have or haven’t done. You can’t control the teachers or the schools actions. If you get a bad grade it won’t be because you failed or are a loser. And I know you won’t get a bad grade anyway. You’ll do great. And also, B is NOT a bad grade!
