Very true! They probably will. And that’s an option too but risks potentially bringing in disease. Also, if you don’t want to deal with hatching, I’ve also ordered chicks from Meyer’s twice and I LOVE them too. Mine are all beautiful, healthy, and great egg layers.

And they’ve all been girls too. They’ve been 100% accurate on the sexing so far haha

Which is nice considering I may have 25-75% boys on my most recent hatch

I think I might just start collecting some of my eggs and do it that way again.

I'm just going to collect the pink egg and cream egg layers and not do any of the brown ones because I don't want any more red sex link eggs. I honestly don't like red sex like Jersey giant cross.

What I meant to say was that she doesn’t always get a can every day lol

She does get fed daily

Or, more accurately, she can eat whenever she wants.

She has a bowl of dry food out 24/7 and then sometimes I give her a can of wet food. Lately I’ve been giving her one frequently, like daily, but I don’t always so sometimes she just gets her dry food. Which she gets mad about lol but she does always have food and water

I know Groot looks so small compared to Gamora. We just got back home and are now settling down, we ate a lot at Chili's I love getting rice, beans, and fries. I get that every time I go.

I also got two margaritas with patrón. They were the margarita of the month.

She’s actually quite spoiled and usually I cave when she comes up to me and yells at me demanding one

I used to not and tried to be tough but she’s a spoiled princess

Today though she didn’t yell at me, I just decided to be nice and give her one lol

She’s been sleeping on my lap like a million times today.

I think she missed me cause she’s been following me around and won’t leave me alone.

Not that I mind LOL

They’re my favorite!!! LOL soooo good!! I usually get the pasta lately.

I love their chips too!! When they’re hot/fresh. One time we got cold chips.

But usually they’re delicious lol

My black eyed peas turned out great! I made some cornbread muffins to go with it. Hubby had them over rice. He really liked it that way. I had mine without. Just a bowl of beans with the smoked turkey meat it in. Was so good! Now I’m stuffed.

A heat mat is what we use. We just stuck it to the outside surface of one side of the tank, although in retrospect it might be better to put it on the bottom, under the tank. Other than that, just keep them somewhere dark and make sure the egg crates are oriented vertically so that a) all the poop falls to the bottom of the tank, and b) they can’t pile up on top of each other too much in the cartons. That can cause losses.
