My black eyed peas turned out great! I made some cornbread muffins to go with it. Hubby had them over rice. He really liked it that way. I had mine without. Just a bowl of beans with the smoked turkey meat it in. Was so good! Now I’m stuffed.

That sound amazing!!! I love mine. They were all fertile, great variety even with my small order, and the chicks are all so cute.

I accidentally took a 3 hour nap.

I woke up and fell back asleep twice though, about once an hour, but still.

Must have needed it I guess.

I had taken a long, hot shower after my walk and then laid down to take a nap, all as part of an effort to help my migraine. Ended up sleeping for 3 hours.

At least it helped LOL

Very true! They probably will. And that’s an option too but risks potentially bringing in disease. Also, if you don’t want to deal with hatching, I’ve also ordered chicks from Meyer’s twice and I LOVE them too. Mine are all beautiful, healthy, and great egg layers.

And they’ve all been girls too. They’ve been 100% accurate on the sexing so far haha

Which is nice considering I may have 25-75% boys on my most recent hatch
