➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

We do the same with Jack We have one of those automatic dry food feeders and he can eat that all day long and we usually give him a scoop of canned food at dinner time. Sometimes we don't give him the canned food because he goes to bed and doesn't want it.

We don’t have an automatic one but do have a bowl and do the same thing. Leave it out and she munches on it whenever she’s hungry.

She is always ready for a can though. :lau

Sometimes she’s a bit picky and will refuse to eat certain kinds but usually she’s ready to eat anytime, anywhere. :lau

She is actually a bit of a wet food addict and gets mad at me when I don’t give her one. :lau

@CSAchook we are setting up the roaches aquarium today. I have a fish tank that I'm going to use. I'll put lots of egg crates and stuff in it so they will be good. I don't know what to do for heat though.

Should I just use a heat mat?

A heat mat is what we use. We just stuck it to the outside surface of one side of the tank, although in retrospect it might be better to put it on the bottom, under the tank. Other than that, just keep them somewhere dark and make sure the egg crates are oriented vertically so that a) all the poop falls to the bottom of the tank, and b) they can’t pile up on top of each other too much in the cartons. That can cause losses.

What are you using for food and water?

That last picture of her with her little tongue... omgosh! It is the most precious thing ever! :love:love:love

Thanks! I love when she sticks her tongue out.

And thanks to all of you for letting me spam you with reptile pictures. As a chickenless member of a chicken site, I really appreciate the opportunity to share pictures and stories of my other pets. Y’all are the best :hugs
