I need names for my chickens and Gina is not one of them because I don't think I could say that name without laughing.

Every time I ask a friend what I should name a chicken she always comes up with these names that I couldn't even say without laughing

Mine were usually named from books or movies. Marvel characters, the power puff girls, frozen....or I get my brothers kids to name them.

I start with the alphabet...Alice, Betty, Clara, Dora, Ellen and so on. Or a bunch of A names for one pen, B names for another pen.
I learned not to let the grandsons help name the roosters....Horney, Studley, The Raper....Tom, Dick and Harry weren't too bad.

as in the six million dollar man.
I was thinking he needed a name since he wasn't going in the freezer..... he ended up costing about the same as 13 pullets and 2 turkey hens I sold this spring

I have two like that Queen Elizabeth was the only chick to hatch from two sets of eggs I got from a friend in Idaho two years ago. And King Arthur is the only chick to hatch in 2019 from two sets of eggs he mailed me last year. We think someone with the post office somewhere between Idaho and Oklahoma read the packaging label "Live Embryo" and tossed the box around.
Queen cost me $75 and King is $80.

Me too. Titanium and ceramic knee. I have to be "searched" every time I fly. Love the new TSA walk thru viewers.

I had to settle for a stainless steel plate and stainless steel screws.

I have stainless steel screws and webbing in my right shoulder.

I don't know why but I'm ABSOLUTELY loving this potholder!!!

Has anyone tried cooking bacon in the air fryer?

So easy. I put mine on a small rack in an aluminum pie pan
I like to use the bacon grease for seasoning green beans. Also use it when I make suet for the wild birds.
Have you reheated tortilla chips yet? Set reheat for 5 minutes...just like fresh at a restaurant.

I steamed veggies (carrots, onions, potatoes, brussel sprouts, and squash) in the microwave for a few minutes and then tossed with olive oil and seasoning and roasted in the air fryer for five minutes at 400 degrees. Last minute I inverted a small aluminum pie tin on top of the veggies.

I am just seeing if this will work now.

labor and delivery is nothing like they show on tv my 3 boys were basically natural births (no time for epidural) and they were 9#6oz, 8lb 14.5 oz, and 10lb 3 oz! i had to be induced all 3 times and they all were born within an hour of first “real” contractions.....i don’t think they even had the room ready for any of them!! DH thought he was going to have to do the delivery!!!. i guess it’s kinda the equivalent of laying a large egg!! oh, and i was back to work/school within 1-2 weeks!

I have plastic mesh about the central area of my belly.

My father had that and it wasn't successful. Her still has major issues with it. Long story short... He went in for colonoscopy and there perforated his bowel and he went septic. He was on life support for weeks. They had to repair a hernia they cause with the mesh, but it failed and now there's nothing they can really do.

i wouldn’t say “superwoman” ....but actually i had little to no choice in the matter.....too far in for traditional pain management and i had to go back to work with 1st because DH was injured from warming a bottle (water flash boiled in microwave and he was blind for a couple weeks) with youngest, I had to take final exams for 1st year dental school (most with newborn in tow)
middle son.....well that’s a really long story!
