Thank goodness we all like different things, that way they all get good homes.

They are all fake. Although the mini chickens are getting cuter to me.never understood any of the min things: horse, pigs, ankle biter dogs or even banties![]()
ok its good for hatching 3 eggs and a good laugh
Sounds reasonable. You could scrub it out really well, make sure to get any visible soil off. Then you could spray it down inside and out and up and down with a sanitizing solution to protect your new flock, and allow it to dry completely first. I think how careful I would be would depend on how well I knew the sanitation practices were of the person I got it from.
I got a coop from a friend who only had one flock for about 2 years and never had any illness in her coop. They tested their eggs and decided that there was too much lead in the eggs. The chickens were also a lot of time etc. then the coop was empty for over a year. They are quite clean and organized people also So I felt really good about that coop when I got it. I would still sanitize it no matter what. But that is my personal preference.
I'd kinda of like one of those. But I have a rather larger rooster and I fear he'd squash her flat.

I love having a rooster and I love the sound of crowing in the morning. But it does preclude getting banty hens.No rooster here. Stinks living in town.
