Not if you have a banty rooster.I love having a rooster and I love the sound of crowing in the morning. But it does preclude getting banty hens.

If balut eggs are 14 days into incubation and horse eggs are just being set, you should be able to hatch and remove the balutties before your horsies go into lockdown.
Put it all the way down to the ground. Rule with goats: if water can get through, so can they! We used livestock panels, about 4' high, set them at ground level on t posts. No escapees yet, my girls weigh about 150 lbs each.I'm using 4' tall "goat" fencing. It came in rolls of 350' from the local farm store and using 6' T-posts. Then using a chain link gate. My next door neighbor tried Hotwire with his goats and they kept just busting through it. He said he did 6 strands and it still didn't keep them in. Was it the horns? I don't know. Anyways I just went with the welded wire roll fencing but it seems to me that there has to be a way to make that work.
No I did not. I feel bad for not going get them today but I will tomorrow morning.@KikisGirls did you get your balluties today?![]()
I know. I'm kinda kicking myself for not going picking them up today but tomorrow won't be much different. Will it?
