I set 37 more eggs today, and locked down 7. I have 3 duck eggs going into lockdown the beginning of next week. One of them had a rolling air cell when I first set it—I am shocked it has survived; usually they live maybe a day, if at all.

Did you plant the dandelions or did they naturalize? Surprise the chickens have let them get big enough to bloom.

When I pick spinach, kale or chard for lunch, I toss a leaf in with the quail. One of them attacks it first and the others join. Only one coop does this. The others trample the leaves.

They are naturalized
The ones in the poultry yard aren't anymore
These are ones they can't get to. I leave them for the bees and harvest for the poultry.
