They had a good five hour drive from the factory and say on the store shelf's for a good whole day before I rescued them.

Thanks. Yes we know. We did quite a bit of balut researching a few months ago.By the way, Metzer Farms once incubated and hatched their own balut eggs.

I've read about this with some other members too. Seems ducks do better with cooler temps than chicken eggs.I had a broody duck hen leave her eggs for a couple days, then i brought them inside for another day before putting them in my incubator. Several still hatched.
