➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I'm trying to figure out a better way to up the humidity. Don't laugh...I haven't even woke up enough to brush my teeth.

This stupid refrigerator hose is dumb. I think I need to find something else....and soon.

Increase the water surface area in the incubator, that helps increase the humidity. I sometimes put some wet tissue paper in mine to bump things and it BUMPS things quite a bit. How is your temperature, is it holding steady?

No...It does perfect if I'm sitting right here playing wafer. But it sky rockets when I'm asleep. Highs and lows. 109-90F.:eek:

I'm not even worried about the temperature...the baby ducks are still moving. I'm worried about this stupid humidity.

@KikisGirls Have you thought about spreading damp paper towels on the bottom of the incubator, below the eggs?
I found the rack thing in the kitchen yesterday to raise the eggs to put sponges under them....but I goofed and cracked an egg and almost quit and hot side tracked with foil. I'm going to try the rack now.

Also, there are really small travel humidifiers you can buy at a camping store.
There is also a real bator at the store calling my name. I'm doing an experiment.
