➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Wow cant believe i just found this! I wonder how they keep the balut alive in the store removing it from incubation?? Perhaps they only leave them out for a certain amount of time..?
No, they don't keep them alive or try to. They don't incubate them at the store. They are for eating not hatching. I've never seen live balut eggs. They sit in the refrigerator for days or weeks. I don't even think they are local

My vacations usually involve living out of a tent and no cell service. My husband and I dream of buying more land, so our vacation without the extended family will be driving through rural part of the US trying to figure out where we could potentially relocate, probably Montana. Everyone else lives east and likes things like air conditioning and housekeeping service and cable TV.
Oh no! I'd lay down in a tent and not be able to get back up! I'm too old, that ship has sailed. I'd be like a big beetle on it's back; legs waving in the air. I like air conditioning and I don't mind house services if I could get such a thing. :p

But I'd rather not go anywhere at all. I'm so, so, SO not a traveller.

How am I going to hug my chickens?? And when I'm gone I'm wondering...are they ok? Do they miss me? Someone could look after them, but that person won't give hugs to my birds. :(
My chickens will BE MISSING THEIR HUGS!!! runcirclsmiley2.gif

I haven't asked, but I'm pretty sure if I ask anyone to hug 100 chickens...the answer is going to be NO! So I'm ok with a day trip for parts/machinery. :p
That's always a good excuse to buy hatching eggs. :celebrate:yesss:

Back...
so this is what one package cooked looks like.
The package lied.
It said 6 servings remember?
It looks like it is closer to 3 servings to me.

BBL.
I gotta go cook more noodles.
A lot of servings are like, 1/2 a cup for the regular person.
I know, I need more than that. Just sayin'.

Hi there. :frow
I've been very busy, plus I spent a couple weeks with a bad sinus infection and cough that sucked the energy out of me.
Saturday was my chicken class at the community college which eats up most of the day. Then, Sunday, my wife ran over her dog and I spent the day at the emergency clinic.
Oh my, poor little guy.
A lot of servings are like, 1/2 a cup for the regular person.
I know, I need more than that. Just sayin'.
Who exactly stops at a half cup? Not me.
