Spent this morning digging up potatoes, and pulling up garlic and hanging it to dry in the deepest shade on the porch.
All raised beds here. It's the opposite of a swamp. Here in the foothills, is thin, rocky, hard as granite soil. We build a whole bunch of raised beds, trucked in dirt, and keep it alive year to year through composting. Thanks chickens!
She also found a giant spider in a bunch of bananas.
