➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

They bought a house with no internet availability?
:th
I literally couldn’t do that. Work and school are so wifi dependent nowadays.

By the way, I’ve been meaning to ask, what is happening in your profile picture?

There's always satellite internet. It's our only option here, and painfully slow.

I am going to try to see if I can get refrigerated quail eggs that are meant for eating to hatch.
I highly doubt they will develop but I need to run the bator.

If these quail eggs don't develop I must find something else to hatch.
Something not normal.
Maybe I can try the chicken balut eggs again, although they were sold out this morning.
I was actually planning on buying a few of the chicken baluts today and was sad to see there was none.

So what you are saying, in the name of the experiment, is that I should ship you duck eggs? It's perfect really, you can cook up one as part of the original taste test from eons ago. You can hatch some. I have never shipped eggs, so that's an experiment. I have never hatched eggs from my flock, so that's an experiment. They will be pure Swedish ducklings, so they should be easy to find homes for.

I love my Swedish. I only have 2 drakes at my farm pond right now. They are too big to keep at my house, and I don’t want females at the farm, because we only go there every few days (neighbors check on things, but I try not to ask too much of them). I’d never be able to collect eggs, and that would attract more predators than I already have.

What are your poor drakes doing without their ladies!:hit
Are they making half-Swedish babies?

Need or want? What's the difference between Swedish and anything else? Do you cook it different? I LOVED the Swedish Chef! Big fan of his work. Um-Bork-bork-bork~ :gig

I probably am going to but I just worry that some hoarding nut job will accept my offer.

Nut job, maybe. Hoarder, I still have freezer space...

My only concern is noise and space.
My 2 concerns are noise, space and fencing.
My 3 concerns are noise, space, fencing and time to grow out.
My concerns include noise, space, fencing and time to grow out.

(I bet Kiki won't get THAT reference!)
