➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

New chicks from a hatchery usually are disease free.

I understand that but if I would've gone and gotten my chick a buddy the other day I wouldn't have been able to get one straight from hatchery. I would've had to go to this feed store about an HR away and I was worried about the health of their chicks bc I noticed a duckling with a huge swollen sinus there once. Anyway I was just curious. So I guess if you plan to sneak chicks under broodies only get straight from hatchery? Right?

That sounds amazing LOL. I can just see some baby goats teetering on your back while you’re trying to downward dog.
I hear dog yoga is becoming a pretty big thing?
There are a lot of adoptions style events that pop up every now and then where there are puppies in the yoga class... I would be in some trouble.

Oh and also one more chicken question... look at my chick please... it has a black comb... where might that have come from? also it has a little bump on its beak; does this look normal?

So I took my girls to get their hair jazzed up with feather extensions today for vacation and I had to get in on the action. Now I really look like a chicken lady!:lau Also DD1 got the all clear from the specialist we were told to visit (quick out of town trip for that). Figs are done dehydrating but I'm not a fan. Going to freeze them and see if I can't rehydrate when I want to use them. Oh and... I also like the show Bones & the movie Lovely Bones. I think Saoirse Ronan is great.
Neat feathers!!!
I love Saoirse Ronan. My favorite with her is Hanna.

Day old chicks at feed stores are usually from hatcheries.
So I am going to say they are pretty safe...hopefully no disease carrying crazy chicken let was in the store that day.

I would buy new chicks from a store if I new they were from a major hatchery.

If you had actually watched it you'd know said phone booth is bigger on the inside. And it's a police box. :tongue

Actually, the Daleks took over around the time of the 2nd world war because the Doctor couldn't save the Earth from them if he didn't exist. So no, not beautiful.
Are you speaking English???

He wanted it done all year long but I kept saying "I'll do it in the summer time."
I was hoping he would forget.
The day after school got out he reminded me.
I hope his color is GONE by the time school starts.
I love crazy colors. I haven't had a natural hair color in a while. Lots of purple and pink and peach and some blue/grey going on. Fun stuff! But not green. Yuck.

These are. They are from privett. And I totally get what you're saying and agree. That little ducky just had me very curious as to how safe they actually are.
