Do you get snow in Houston??
I've flown over you in winter but haven't ever seen it. I hate snow. Too cold and too messy!
No.

Maybe a teeny tiny bit every 10 years or so.

I'm pretty sure I had like 3 more things to quote... :idunno

Oh and also one more chicken question... look at my chick please... it has a black comb... where might that have come from? also it has a little bump on its beak; does this look normal?View attachment 1473607

I'm pretty sure (as others have mentioned) the black is normal until it grows, just like other chicks might have a yellow comb until they grow. I bet it's just big and red in the end. You'll have to show us in a few months. I'm sure we'll all be here talking gibberish still.

Excuse me Pirate... I'm a cool mom, okay???

I'm sure you are a cool mom. I'm just saying that anything mom's do is uncool by default. This is the logic of a child. The only things mom's do that kids think is cool is to let the kids get their way... for example if a kid wants ice cream and you let them have ice cream that's cool, of if a kid wants to stay up late and you let them stay up late that's cool, but if you forced them to stay up late it wouldn't be cool because that was your idea.

Umm... I had more... I can't think... I was only half sleeping on the couch the last two nights and running to the door regularly with a puking dog. I am now a grumpy zombie.

The ducks have quit laying since their run flooded. I fixed it. I brought in a lot of dirt. They are still on strike. They got their pool back today. I think this will help improve their attitudes, plus they are filthy from the flood and really need a good bath. Apparently my duck run flood was minor and some roads washed out and are closed, so it really was more rain than normal. I was fearing the run would flood every time it rains and I had a terrible design, but hopefully not, it was just a freak storm.

Oh, hair color. When I was younger I had every color but my natural color. At some point my younger brother and sister started getting grey hairs and I feared I might not be able to have my natural color much longer so I stopped dying it. Then there was the whole job thing and what colors may or may not be acceptable in the work place or what different companies might tolerate as I was interviewing for a new job. There is nothing specific in my dress code about hair color now, but I couldn't think of anyone at the company that had an un-natural color. I took a gamble and went for a purple ombre. First I bleached the ends so just had a brown to blonde ombre, which I was quite fond of so I left it like that a few weeks, then I dyed the ends purple, which sadly faded way quicker than I'd hoped, so now I'm left with pink at the ends (or light red). I'm ok with pink hair. It's not bad like when blue fades to the blonde green I used to get from swimming in chlorine water as a kid. I still have a job. No drama. I figured worst case was that I could cut a few inches off the end and the color would be gone, or bleach out the color and go back to the brown to blonde ombre.

Anywho, I guess I have work some now.
