I need a “log cabin on a snowy mountain” option.

I have a spare bedroom or we can do a swap, when I go on vacation, you can stay at my house and take care of the chickens and ducks and dogs and cats.

I don't think you northerners would even consider what we do get every ten years snow though....some flurries that barely stick to the ground.

We usually get an inch or 2 that sticks around for a few weeks. It snows through the winter but usually melts... so I'd consider what you get as having snow! 2 years ago though, it was SNOWMAGGEDON and I wanted to run away and never come back! We got several feet, then come spring EVERYTHING flooded. It was awful. I usually love where I live, until that one winter.

I've flown over you in winter but haven't ever seen it. I hate snow. Too cold and too messy!

We got snow last year, don’t listen to kiki. It is very rare though and laughable compared to up north.
We had a blast throwing rock hard dirty snowballs. The Golden’s were in heaven.

One already escaped through a small gap in the door of the cage so I had to fix that.

I’m not sitting out there with them. I honestly don’t feel good either, but it has to be better than staying in the brooder in the extremely hot garage.

Unfortunately the stupid run isn’t done otherwise I would love to let them out. I’m getting the Ginger to give them sticks and soil to play with in my absence lol.

Good Ginger! We only have one coop and run, and it’s currently being used with a tiny “coop” for integrating the 10 week olds. Once that’s done then these babies get that and we start the process over again.
Did I mention that we are keeping these unless someone buys them
How close to being done is the run?
