They're pretty average chickens.

Rubbish in cold weather, though. He fell over and died during two weeks when the highs were 0*F and the lows were -15 to -25*F. It seems that cockerels of any breed are more prone to dying, though.
They originated in Sweden, but they're mainly bred in warm parts of the US, as far as I know.
The hen I had was a sweetie but had a bit of an attitude as a baby. She was one of my favourites later on, though. I miss her. The rooster I made a mistake on and almost turned bad but was able to save him and he became one of my most well-mannered.
