and being from Louisiana I know how it's done I promise i just thought her grandma thought it was cruel which would've been super sweet. Honeslty I think the boiling alive part is very cruel but I still dig in at crawfish/ shrimp/ crab boil like I have no shame! but it just seems so horrendous to think about.
You really need to stop talking about this amazing bisque. I can't get it out of my head and I want it.I also miss having the job of wacking crabs on the head with a long handled spoon and back into the purge bin before a crab boil. That was always my job as a kid when Grandma was boiling crabs.
I enjoy seafood boils too much to think about it.I haven't either
